Did you know? Czech saaz hops are exalted throughout the world for the unique crisp taste they impart ot world class lagers. They come from the western region of the Czech Republic, Bohemia. They are the most expensive hops in the world. Though Barley's Pilsner looks and drinks like a pilsener, we brew it using ale yeast. Technically, it would be classified as a Light Hybrid. Step aside, Prius.

Barley's Pilsner Style Guidelines: A great introduction to craft brewed beer, since there is enough malt and hop flavor in our Pilsner to keep even the most sophisticated beer drinkers coming back for more. Rotation Schedule: always on tap downtown; sometimes at the Smokehouse Food Pairings: works best as a thirst-quencher. Try it with super-hot food, such as blackened redfish, or with any seafood. Great with roasted or grilled chicken. |
